What types of custom gene editing do you offer?

We can work with you to provide custom cell lines using CRISPR-Cas9 technology, including:

Knockout (KO)

Point mutation (PM)

Knock-in (KI) – short and long fragments

Conditional knockout (CKO)

Since each gene editing project is unique, the time required to complete a project will vary depending on the type of editing requested.

What cell lines are available?

We have experience generating over 1,000 gene-edited cell lines across more than 100 backgrounds, including iPSCs. You can provide us with your own cell lines for editing.

Do you provide single clones or cell pools?

Our standard custom cell editing service produces single-clone cell lines. However, in addition to single-clone cell lines, we can also  provide cell pools.

What will I receive upon project completion?

Upon project completion, you will receive:

One edited clone (1x10^6 cells/vial), x 2)

One vial of wild-type cells for use as a control (1x10^6 cells/vial)

A final project report comprising the design proposal, experimental protocol, and genomic sequencing results.

What quality control tests do you provide?

The final clone undergoes the following quality control validation tests, and the results will be provided in the final project report.

Cell viability: >70% cell survival

Mycoplasma testing: Negative

Genotyping (NGS or Sanger sequencing)

Cell count (1x10^6 cells/vial)

Cell morphology assessment

How should I use my cell line upon receipt?

Upon project completion, your cell line will be shipped to you via dry ice along with any supporting materials you requested. If you do not plan to thaw the cells immediately, we recommend storing them in liquid nitrogen as soon as you receive the product. The cell line can be frozen directly and does not require any additional cryopreservation steps.
