Isotype Control Antibody

  Isotype Control Antibody is an antibody that has the exact same species source, immunoglobulin class (such as IgG), subtype (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c, IgG3, etc.), subtype light chain (kappa or lambda), and label (such as the same fluorescent dye, biotin, etc.) as the specific primary antibody or detection antibody used in the experiment, but does not target any target in the experimental system. It usually targets an unrelated antigen (such as KLH, β - gal, DNP, etc.).
