Tools & Reagents

Tool and reagent targets are a dedicated set of molecules and proteins specifically for experimental detection, experimental controls, and experimental assistance. Although these molecules are typically not intervention targets for disease-mechanism regulation, they play an irreplaceable methodological-support and quality-control role in the establishment, validation, and standardization of antibody experiments and detection methods, and are an indispensable key supporting system in all biomedical research, drug development, and clinical-laboratory systems. These targets include: isotype-control immunoglobulins (mouse, rat, and rabbit isotype-control IgG and subtypes, humanized and chimeric control IgG1/IgG4); host-cell-protein (HCP) residual-detection molecules (CHO, HEK293, NS0 host-cell residual proteins and anti-HCP polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, recombinant HCP standards); small-molecule and metabolite-detection molecules (small-molecule standards and substrates, ROS and calcium-indicator fluorescent probes, metabolomic and lipidomic labeling reagents and isotope internal standards); and immune adjuvants and other experimental auxiliary reagents (Freund's complete and incomplete adjuvants FCA/IFA, MPL, CpG ODN, and BSA, blocking serum, buffer components, protease inhibitors, affinity-purification resins and magnetic beads, fluorescent and enzyme-labeled secondary antibodies, and ECL and TMB colorimetric substrates). These reagent targets provide basic methodological support in antibody-specificity verification and background control, biologic HCP residual detection and safety evaluation, quantitative monitoring of metabolism and oxidative stress, and experimental-system standardization and immune-response enhancement.
