Catalog NumberKMP3552
Product DescriptionThe Human CD8A & CD8B Heterodimer Protein(KMP3552) is produced in HEK293 Cells. The target gene encoding the human CD8A (NP_001759.3) (Met1-Asp182) is fused with a flag tag at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 1; The target gene encoding the human CD8B (NP_004922.1) (Met1-Pro170) is fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, constructed the plasmid 2. The two plasmids are co-expressed and the human CD8A&CD8B heterodimer is purified.

BackgroundCD8A (CD8 Subunit Alpha) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CD8A include Cd8 Deficiency, Familial and Herpes Zoster. Among its related pathways are TCR Signaling (Qiagen) and Network map of SARS-CoV-2 signaling pathway. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include protein homodimerization activity and coreceptor activity. CD8B (CD8 Subunit Beta) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CD8B include Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and Uterine Corpus Cancer. Among its related pathways are Infectious disease and Nef-mediates down modulation of cell surface receptors by recruiting them to clathrin adapters. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include coreceptor activity and MHC class I protein binding. An important paralog of this gene is CD8B2.
