Bovine Recombinant mAb Production Service

KMD Bioscience has been dedicated to antibody preparation research for many years. The company possesses a team of professional antibody preparation technicians with extensive experience. We adhere to providing high-quality antibody production services and have established a mature and comprehensive antibody preparation platform, capable of offering customized monoclonal antibody services for various species. Leveraging years of experience in phage display technology projects, we have successfully achieved the production and preparation of bovine monoclonal antibodies, particularly those with ultra-long CDR3 (Complementarity Determining Region 3).

In antibody research, bovine can generate antibodies featuring ultra-long CDR3 loops and a limited number of variable regions. Naturally, approximately 10% of bovine antibodies contain this ultra-long CDR3 domain. This loop forms a knot-like shape and primarily mediates the antibody's affinity for antigens, conferring superior antigen-binding capabilities. To overcome the conformational entropy loss mechanism associated with long loops, bovine utilize disulfide bonds to fixate the ultra-long CDR3 domain. We are committed to providing clients with high-immunoaffinity bovine monoclonal antibody preparation and related testing services, guaranteeing delivery quantity to meet experimental requirements.

Characteristics of Bovine Monoclonal Antibodies (mAbs)

Bovine monoclonal antibodies offer unique advantages in studying antigen structures. The ultra-long CDR3 loop of bovine antibodies is the longest CDR3 loop found among other species (50-61 amino acids), facilitating the recognition of deeply buried epitopes. Related structural and deep sequencing analyses reveal that the ultra-long CDR3 loop contains an even number of cysteines, forming a unique structure where cysteines participate in creating a diverse disulfide-bonded "knob" domain supported by a β-strand "stalk". This long CDR3 loop enables bovine antibodies to more effectively attack various bacteria and viruses or grasp molecular targets, especially antigens unrecognizable by conventional antibodies, such as GPCRs. Our independently designed experimental protocols maximize the acquisition of high-purity, highly specific bovine monoclonal antibodies.

KMD Bioscience provides Bovine Monoclonal Antibody Preparation Services based on phage display technology. We can also tailor personalized experimental protocols according to your requirements, such as peptide antigen design and protein antigen preparation.
